Art 798<\/p>\n

This is a large art precinct in north eastern Beijing on what used to \u00a0an old electronics factory site.\u00a0 The area is very large and I had insufficient time to explore it all.\u00a0 There were art galleries, nick nack shops, fashion designer clothing and various art exhibitions.\u00a0 One shop’s entire stock consisted of items, mainly sculptural rather than clothing, fashioned from crochet.<\/p>\n

Further down the street were several boxes made into homes for cat or cat. One was busy napping when I walked past.<\/p>\n

One of quite a few cafes and restaurants.\u00a0 It was being decorated for halloween.<\/p>\n

An exhibition about the origins of two of the founders of Art Space 798.\u00a0 Children of poor farmers who overcame adversities to achieve education, develop abilities and found the area.<\/p>\n
