<\/a><\/p>\nDon’t think I’ve been to any\u00a0 concert in the theatre which hasn’t had a martial arts item.\u00a0 This one provided a bit more colour and variety than others.<\/p>\n
Some sort of patter where\u00a0performers feed off one another and where one\u00a0 frequently\u00a0 recites a great list of words at breakneck speed to great hilarity from the audience.\u00a0 This is a common style of performance and very popular.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Dance performances in ethnic style costumes are another favourite.\u00a0 Here are girls from the Engineering Department.<\/p>\n Another night and girls from the Foreign Languages Department etc.\u00a0 Dance performances are about the only time any flesh is displayed.\u00a0 There are no skimpy t-shirts\u00a0or big gaps between top and bottom garments\u00a0here. \u00a0<\/p>\n The boys danced alone and then joined in with the girls.<\/p>\n The boys from the Foreign Languages Department\u00a0 Dept etc\u00a0 doing a dance involving a wolf.<\/p>\n Two nights later the Engineers are wearing pretty much the same costume and doing one involving a horse.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n A group of male engineering students performing a modern dance.<\/p>\n A skit involving one of the early emperors.<\/p>\n One of the students did tricks with his bike alternating with\u00a0another doing breakdance moves.\u00a0 Breakdance is also popular and groups of breakdancers\u00a0often show up in student concerts.\u00a0 Concerts are held for other reasons and are\u00a0presented in a much smaller venue off the gym.<\/p>\n Not entirely sure about this one apart from it being boys dancing as if they were girls.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Individual singers are another popular item.\u00a0 All of these sang individually and then together.\u00a0\u00a0 Most of them had very good and powerful voices and were popular with the audience.<\/p>\n This performance looked like it had something to do with flowers.<\/p>\n The Foreign Languages Dept etc finished with a latin style dance.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
