I returned from Shandong under the weather.\u00a0 I\u00a0 improved and then relapsed with new symptoms. \u00a0It seemed that I came to China with medicine for everything but what I had. \u00a0\u00a0A few days later one of the ex students visited and decided that I needed medical attention.\u00a0 Students go to the doctor for absolutely anything so a Chinese opinion of the need for medical attention is not indicative of anything. \u00a0\u00a0However, he offered to go in my place. So after ensuring he had the story straight I allowed him to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I thought he might return with some interesting stuff from the numerous draws at the shop\/surgery\/hospital.\u00a0 Instead he brought a plastic bag of packets of pills and a bottle of other pills.\u00a0 After I recovered from amazement at the number of pills in each packet we straightened out the dosage procedure. \u00a0\u00a0He assured me that the treatment was standard for my ailment, doctors all knew me and that I should go myself if I didn\u2019t improve within 2 days. \u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s where I\u2019ve been for cupping and I\u2019m the only one like me around so yes, they do \u201cknow\u201d me.\u00a0 I was rather concerned about taking so many pills especially when I had no idea what they were.\u00a0 However, I ignored my concerns and swallowed.\u00a0\u00a0 They are finished and despite having prepared and then taught for 10 hours today and yesterday I finally feel normal.\u00a0 I have no idea whether the pills helped or hindered or did nothing. \u00a0\u00a0The cost was miniscule.\u00a0<\/p>\n
